Man, havent posted in like, 2 months. Now blogging seems alien to me. HAHA. Well, had a powerpack week, with a great weekend and happening weekdays. Pastor Lia preached on Sat, and she was talking about having a Revelation of Sin. I felt so impacted by it as, I have always struggled with so many sins in life, that sometimes i would lose myself in feeling condemned by it. I felt that i really spoke to me and from now on, I will look at it from another direction. =)
On Sunday, Pastor Tan Ye Peng came to hoGc to preach again, this time preaching about Life and Light. He talked about having the foundation of a church and, why man were created first and all. Those who are reading this post without having heard the sermon, I would like to ask of you not to think that Christianity is a sexist religion. No it isn't. Guys have their role in this world and so do females, just that this sermon is more for the guys, ok? =) Pastor Tan is a very annointed preacher (and so are Pastor How and Lia). He talked about having purpose, which determines potential of a thing, and the potential of a thing also reveals it's purpose. He also said that men, were create to do 5 things in the world. It was just a great sermon which we need to hear constantly to refresh ourselves. =)
Anw, following that was Monday, and there was a Children Church Event going on that day, so we went down early to prepare stuff and waited for the kids to come. Though the number of kids that came weren't the desired number, but we still had fun and we got to know each and every kid a whole lot better. This could be one of the good points about being in small groups. We had loads of fun too, the teachers as well as the kids.
